Best Books for learning Graphic design
What are the best books for learning color theory or typography or anything like that? I'd like to learn but, I'm not sure what the best books would be to read to learn.

Agreed. This was my textbook in school when I studied Graphic Design. It was the only one I made sure to keep after graduating.

"Logo Design Love" by David Airey is particularly good for logo design. For every design he completely goes in to his thought process and all of his drafts for logos. It basically provides you with a really concrete framework for designing logos.

There are some youtube channels as well that are pretty handy:
GCF Learn Free
Will Patterson
These are just a few but there are heaps more out there as well.

For color theory: I recently got The Secret Language of Color and really like it. It's more sciencey than I was expecting, which I enjoyed.

On more of the business side read Burn Your Portfolio. I think it's the most important book I've read for my design career.

Paul Rand: Conversations with Students by Michael Kröger
One of the few books I'd read many times. Insight, recommendations and advice from the educator himself.
